Much of Shupak & Co's work involves advising on transactions and trade between businesses located in different countries, or on the resolution of disputes arising from such transactions or trade.

Shupak & Co has extensive experience both of working as part of an international team comprising a client's legal and other professional advisers, and of assembling and co-ordinating such teams for clients who require the firm to act as lead adviser. In doing so, the firm aims to ensure that the client has access to and the benefit of appropriate legal advice from lawyers in the relevant jurisdictions. The firm has long experience of identifying suitable lawyers in other countries.

The firm is particularly sensitive to the need as part of its advice to assist clients in identifying and addressing important legal issues arising from their international business activities, which may be unfamiliar to them when compared with their domestic business.
